"Listen up, y’all… if you are looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and friendly office atmosphere and an amazing staff - from techs to orthodontists - this is your place! I spoke with several orthodontists to get quotes, timelines, and plans of action. I knew I would be going with Abdoney Orthodontics from the minute I stepped in and at least three ladies behind the desk welcomed me in such a way that made me feel like I was already a seasoned patient. They take the time to answer all your questions (we even Googled one to try and debunk it!). One daughter currently has braces through Abdoney and the second one will be starting this fall. "I did braces As an adult to address my relentless TMJ. I was cautiously optimistic this would work -since getting the braces I haven’t had any jaw pain, popping, displacement, or migraines (read: instant relief) which in and of itself is enough for a 5 star review and addition to Christmas card list. Even though my teeth were already straight, their positioning is refined- which was unexpected. The VAST improvement over my experience with orthodontics circa 1994 cannot be fully described. if you’ve ever considered this as an option for dealing with TMJ, I would highly recommend speaking with Dr. Michael and his staff."

"As an adult, I really had to think hard about whether I could tolerate braces again, having had them as a teenager, fur the inconvenience and the expense. However I really didn't like how my lower teeth had moved so much over the years. I thought Invisalign would be an option, yet I couldn't be so disciplined to wear them consistently, and it would take longer than traditional braces. Dr. Abdoney was straightforward about his recommendation that I go with traditional braces once again. Needless to say, time had made me forget how uncomfortable and inconvenient these buggers were. And when you speak to people for a living, well, the first few months sound like you've been drinking. And let's face it, they are not attractive. Yet COVID did me one favor ... very few people knew I had braces under the mask. When I had the routine appointments, I always enjoyed Wanda.One year and one week later I have straight teeth. I am amazed at the difference! Dr. Abdoney has really made a HUGE improvement in my smile. I am very pleased!! So if you are thinking about it, just go ahead and go see Abdoney Orthodontics. "I just recently got my braces off, and I have had a wonderful experience with Abdoney Orthodontics. I had some unusual circumstances - I was coming from 45 minutes away, and when I started, I was in a lot of pain from the muscles around my jaws. We were hopeful the braces could help alleviate it, and they did! In addition, my teeth look great. The orthodontists and staff were gentle and patient with me (I had a lot of trouble at first because of my pain issues) and helped accommodate my schedule for appointments."

"After our consultation with a well-known orthodontist in Riverview, we decided to get another opinion with Dr. Abdoney based on referrals from friends. Dr. Abdoney did not insist or push Insignia which would have cost us about another $1,500 whereas the orthodontist in Riverview would only do Insignia (there was no option to go the traditional route whereas Dr. Abdoney would do either). We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Dr. Abdoney! My daughter's braces are off after 18 months and her teeth look beautiful and I saved $1,500! Dr. Abdoney has a good rapport with the kids, all of the staff is very nice, and we never had any problems getting an appointment that fit my daughter's schedule so she did not have to miss any school. And best of all, we never had to wait to be seen when we got there! Although the Bloomingdale office was a little bit farther to drive, it was well worth it! "After my son was seen and treated by another local orthodontist, I went in for a consult to get braces as an adult. I wasn't completely happy with the vibe I got or how much prices had gone up so, by recommendation, I decided to go in for a consultation with Dr. Abdoney. A year later, I just finished my treatment and got my braces off and I love the result! The options reviewed with me at both places were the same but Dr. Abdoney really listened to what I didn't like about my teeth and proceeded with a treatment plan to fix what I didn't like without pushing other (more expensive and timely options.) He and his staff are very down to earth and friendly. Paul, one of the orthodontic assistants, was my favorite. He was especially patient and helpful explaining the various steps. The office has a great homely atmosphere. My daughter Nalonna got her braces put on today and Paul was amazing! He answered any questions she had about her new look. He also taught her everything she needed to know and sent her home with all of her care supplies for her braces. "I had to get braces twice, once in 4th grade and once in 7th grade. I'm midway through my freshman year of high school and I'm about to get them off. The people at Abdoney Orthodontics have been so great these past few years!
